And so the story...

Looking for something unique to adorn your wrist? Well, this might just be the ticket. You know how much I love Kazuri beads – and these are quite unusual. A soft green decorated with shiny gold and gunmetal markings. I decided to mix it up a bit by using the bold (yes, very bold) gunmetal aluminum triple link chain. Personally, I love the look. To further play off the gold in the beads – there are black goldstone daggers of sorts. Yes, I said “black” goldstone – which is really hard to find. Lucky for us all; I happened on these on one of my Tucson excursions. Not an actual gemstone, goldstone is manmade – incorporating bits of copper into the molten glass to give the effect of gold and it was first created in 17th Century Venice. That’s a long time ago! I have loved it for years…but not quite that long. Beautiful sparks of Czech fire-polished glass, heavily faceted in clear bring just the right amount of light to the Kazuri design. Finally, I added a few rondelles of Czech Jablonex fire-polished glass to highlight the Kazuri beauties. The bigger than big double link gunmetal chain, crafted in aluminum, is lightweight; but gives a magnificent look to the finished piece.

There is nothing tiny about this bracelet – the Kazuri beads are a little less than one inch square. Measures 7 ¾” in length and closes with an oversized gunmetal lobster style clasp. A 1 ¾” extender gives you lots of wearing options. In the image above, I had to link the clasp into the last chain of the extender in order to get a pix that shows the Kazuri beads. One trick, I wouldn't use the full length of the extender on this piece. I will say that this particular item was designed for my gals with smaller wrists, so keep that in mind when ordering.
