And so the story...
The lampwork beads in this bracelet are different from any I’ve used before. They are an oval shape but not flat -- blue, but not aqua as those I’ve used in other designs, with the black wavy stripes that I find intriguing. Since the glass is clear you can see through the bead which lends a bit of floating in blue water feeling, at least for me. Of course, I love to mix these beads with the finest of Czech black glass beads – this time using large twisted black opaque beads that reflect the movement of the black glass lines in the lampwork beads; and I’ve also incorporated a round matte-finish bead which plays off the highly polished twisted glass beads.
Jumbled in with glistening oval link silver-plate chain, it all comes together in an interesting way. The three strands connect with a top-quality oversized C-ring signora clasp. Making it easy to pop on – listen for the click when you release the thumb press and you’re assured the bracelet will stay in place.
While the bracelet actually measures 8” it fits a bit smaller due to the overall size of the beads and the fact that there are three strands wrapping around your wrist. There is a one inch extender making it possible for you to get the perfect fit.
As you can see – the styling options are many with this design. I’ve just shown a few here to get your creative thoughts up and running. Worn alone or styled with others – it’s just a beautiful piece and would be a happy camper in your collection and one your wrist. I wonder...is their a Pantone color that matches this?
