And so the story...
The style of this bracelet makes me think of cobblestone paths and a yummy French brioche. Nothing like a lightly toasted brioche with a rich cup of coffee to start your day – and that tells your where my inspiration came from. Now you can have your brioche in the form of an agate – which means you can wear it on your wrist and not on your hips! I found these gemstones in Tucson and they hung around on my inspiration board waiting for a design that would do them justice for quite some time. Well, it took awhile but I finally came up with a design that makes me happy and shows off the gemstone. Czech Jablonex glass beads in brown iris and gold/clear mix are the perfect partner for the agate.
While this is a “cuff style” bracelet, it isn’t a true cuff since it is flexible and closes with a slide tube clasp. Gold-plate option shown in the image here. The clasp keeps the three strands in line and gives the look of a cuff style. However, there is no extender option with this type of clasp – and this particular design is best for a small- to medium-size wrist. Measures 7 ½” long.
