Think Twilight – this entrancing beauty is designed around five one-inch square red and black lampwork beads. Not only is red glass beautiful it is one of the hardest with which to work. Yes, I learned that while working with a great glass artist in Newport Beach, Wesley Hogan, many, many, many years ago. So it’s no wonder it continues to be one of my favs in the glass world. Mixing it up with black gives the overall piece an unexpected quality – mysterious in a way. The finest Czech glass nuggets and fire-polished rondelles are the perfect complete to the lampwork beads. And, what can I say…the black link aluminum chain is fun and lightweight. Closes with an oversized lobster style clasp where one of the red-black beads is attached as a charm of sorts. Measures 8” in length. I would say that if your wrist is really tiny (less than 6 ¼”) this might not be the bracelet for you. But not to worry, there are other red-black beauties on the site.
