Purple – the color of royalty and the color of a pair of loafers sitting in my closet. What can I say? I love the color purple. While I don’t wear much of it in clothing, well, except those loafers, I do wear a lot of it in jewelry. The Czech glass beads that make up the soft bangle component of this design are so lovely – deep rich purples mixed with various colors of alexandrite (sigh) – are stunning. The crocheted rope is topped with my signature end caps with an antique silver finish and if you look closely you’ll see the tiniest of hearts dancing around the bead. Dangling as “charms” there are two Czech pressed glass beads made from vintage molds – one in deep purple and the other in the softest of lavender; a variety of fancy-cut Czech glass beads in clear and purple round out the bracelet. I love the ease of these soft bangles since you simply roll them over your hand on to your wrist.

Comfortable to wear alone or layered with any type of bracelet – they never get in the way when you are doing those things you do in life. Don’t you just love that? Oh and I should mention, these would look so lovely on those bridesmaids of yours. And, unlike the dress…they would actually wear this bracelet again and again and again! Fits an average size wrist.

Here is just one of the ways I wear this piece. Layered with this fantastic sterling silver and amethyst cuff by one of my favorite designers -- Judith Ripka. I love the look and the feel of these pieces together. I think I gather the energy from Judith when I layer things up this way. And, in my mind, that's a good thing.
