I love the mini-hoop style of this earring. Not one to like the piercing in my ear to show, these hoops are bold enough to cover. The post style positions the hoop perfectly and keeps it there. The faceted 12mm natural carnelian, in my favorite rusty-red color of this gemstone, is really pretty. There is a slight translucency along the edges, as is the nature of this stone. Another reason I love this particular design is that while they are a dangle, they only measure about 3/4" from where they enter the ear. Piercing covered and shorter dangle -- love it!
