#0500 Amethyst Gemstone Multi-Strand Sterling Silver Bracelet
And so the story...
Purple – the color of royally. I love purple gemstones, many of which people might not know about. Two of my favorites are Cape Amethyst, which is a lighter shade of purple with wisps of white dancing through it and Chevron Amethyst, which is a deep purple with some transparent and translucent characteristics along with strong “wisps” of white running through it.
This beauty of a bold bracelet includes the chevron variety, in both coins (20mm) and pillows (15mm), and the somewhat “rough” nuggets (10mm x 20mm) of the type of amethyst with which you may be most familiar. Mixed into the bunch are 10mm Czech glass two-way beads in clear and purple along with the finest Czech glass fire-polished amethyst colored glass beads. Tiny purple glass dagger-style beads add a little edge to the overall look.
Three strands come together with a three-loop sterling silver toggle. The triple loop gives you wearing options of 7 ½”, 8” and 8 ½”—so there’s a good chance that one of those will work perfectly for you. But I must add that mystery thing – because there are three strands of rather large beads, the overall fit is a bit smaller than if it were a single strand of small beads. So, that being said, I think this is a pretty good choice for everyone out there. Not to worry about the security of the toggle – the weight of the bracelet means that once in place, the bar/toggle is secure until you decide to take it off. While it looks terrific on its own and would do any wrist proud, layered with unexpected pieces from your existing collection it takes on a whole new personality.
